Following a significant brain injury, my therapist recommended neurofeedback as a potential treatment for the trauma and anxiety I was experiencing. It changed my life in a really good way. Over the course of 3 months and 30 treatments I went from struggling to sleep most nights and relying on anti-anxiety medication to get through the day, to sleeping like a baby almost every night with minimal need for any anxiety medication. My thinking is clear, my rational and emotional brains are communicating with each other again, and I am connecting important dots I was previously unable to. I’m more confident in life, whether at home, work, or other social settings. The brain injury robbed me of my confidence and emotional stability. Neurofeedback gave me my life back.

I started neurofeedback when I was going through an enormously stressful time of my life. It had been recommended to me by a family member who had gone through the loss of a child and she felt this helped her enormously as well. I have suffered from anxiety for about 30 years and worked through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy both in groups and on my own. CBT provided some improvement to my depression and anxiety but it never really went away. When I started neurofeedback before even completing the 30 sessions I started to notice some significant improvement in my ability to manage the stress around me in addition to an improvement in concentration and focus. I now go for “touch ups” when I feel any anxiety creeping back into my life. I find the sessions very relaxing and peaceful. I actually miss watching the graphics as they are quite beautiful.

Nigel is one of the kindest, calmest neurofeedback practitioners you will meet and I highly recommend him and neurofeedback.

After exploring various approaches to better manage anxiety, stress, and fatigue, I was encouraged to try neurofeedback. After completing 30 sessions, I can confidently say that it helped reduce my stress and anxiety while also improving my overall sense of wellbeing. Over time, I noticed a gradual decrease in stress and anxiety, and I’ve come to see neurofeedback as a valuable tool that enhances my meditation practice. Immediately after each session, I experienced a temporary but noticeable sense of calm and improved focus. Some sessions even provided profound insights, helping me gain clearer perspectives on the underlying causes of my stress and anxiety, ultimately leading to more balanced thinking and a greater understanding of myself.
